sporting events

This year, we were able to conduct 2 different event categories; the 4x1 mile relay which is new event and the route was from Drop off to Long Island and back and the regular 5k from Drop Off to Bank of Hawaii and back. the 4x1 mile relay, we had 3 different categories (women, men and mixed teams). We only had 2 female teams and 3 mixed teams and for the 5k, we had a total of 22 participants. We had 50 medals for all the winners of the event; also gave out 150 towels with printing of the event.

Belau Medical Society

Total number of clients seen by BMS during the 2 day event were 58. The following services were rendered by the Belau Medical Society: Blood Pressure Screening, Body Mass Index [BMI], Blood Sugar Testing, Blood Cholesterol Testing, Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening, Depression-Stress Screening, Alcohol Cessation, Tobacco Cessation, Dental Screening.
